Yeah when I picked it up I thought it was the wrong price but it scanned at 13.99 even the sales guy couldn't believe it. It has the Red/pink sale sticker on it.

Hmmm... I saw this in HMV in the UK last month on special for £32!

And I also saw in my local HMV recently on special for €45.

Unless they've vastly reduced it further, I think you spotted a once-off there, cableguy.

But if anyone spots in anywhere else at this price, let us know.

Price is 44.99, i said that it was 13.99 in another store and could he check, he looked up and it was 44.99 for sure in all Ireland HMV's.

I checked in Cork on the way home this evening.
They had 3 and are now sold out. They are expecting a delivery of another 20 at that price any day. Hopefully I'll manage to pick one of those up

It was available at that price in Sligo until yesterday / today, but I went in on the way home and..



.. the guy at the counter said they had to ring to confirm the price with their supplier. HMV are selling it a loss apparently.

He said he was convinced it was a mistake and that when it sells out, there's a good chance it'll go back up to it's normal price!

Helluva bargain though... cheers OP and sorry for doubting you!

I rang HMV Cruises St and was told they're out of stock. I rang HMV Crescent and got a wally though. "I doubt we'd be giving you 10 movies for €13.99" was what I was told. :rolleyes:

Had one of the box sets in my hand today in the Crescent S.C. Limerick and they guy told me that the low price was a mistake due to the supplier telling hmv that they were going to sell them the box sets for a tenner so they could sell them to the customers for fourteen but then they changed their mind about it. Long story short he wouldnt sell it to me for less than the 69.99 price tag.

Have to admit though, that I'm feeling a bit cheated when I'm hearing that other stores are still honouring the price. Time to email hmv's head office methinks.

Yeah, I kinda feel like i left it get away from me too but I had no reason to doubt that it was just a mistake until I got home, checked here and found that other people were still able to avail of the offer in Galway and Dublin etc. Going to contact their head office to see if I was lied to.

There's something fishy going on here because like I posted earlier I rang them this morning and got someone who sounded very cranky indeed. He told me they didn't have any in stock. Now you say you had one in your hand grrrr.. :mad: I don't like being lied to.
