Can't really see why it would. Testing at Boeing Field would be just as useful as testings at SNN or anywhere else in the world.

Obviously the A380 was so big that it required testing of facilites at airports around the world. The B787 while a radically new design doesn't alter the requirments of airport facilities so there shouldn't be the need to fly it to all parts of the world. Thats not to say that Boeing wouldn't ensure the B787 runs high visibility 'test' flights in various airports where possible customers operate.

I refuelled it and then took the full tour very nice plane classy touches like the windows that darken at the touch of a button, no pulling blinds.Loads of people got the tour they were coming out of the woodwork, boeing staff very friendly
