    Hi all,

I am seriously thinking of getting laser eye surgery and I was wondering if anyone had any dealings with laservision in Dublin? I am going to book a free consultation with them. Looking for some advice from people who had it done before, as I am feeling quite nervous!!:o thank u!!:)

I too am seriously considering this procedure and Laservision seem to be good and price (and the package).

Still like to hear some recent feedback though?....

Wavefront LASIK working out at €2990 (before VHI / QUINN discount and tax relief).

This looks like at least €1k cheaper than the competitors?

No hidden extras and lifetime guarantee.

At that rate why would we use anyone else?

    Am I missing something?

Is there an age limit on laser eye surgery? I would really like to get it done but i'm only 16.

Hey, I had my surgery with laservision 2 weeks ago (lasik wavefront), and so far everything has gone really well, I didn't have much side effects ( little bit of a glare at night & a little dryness at the beginning) when I went for my check up Dr fenton was happy with my progress and even now after just 2 weeks I don't need the eye drops anymore to prevent dryness, I feel normal again!! :D it is the best thing I ever done and I am so glad that I am now one of these people u hear that say that!!! I was very nervous getting it done and nearly talked myself out of it on the way to the clinic. But the procedure is very quick and not painful at all just a bit uncomfortable at times.:)

I had surgery with Laservision at the end of April and would really reccomend them. All consultations and follow up appointments are with the surgoen rather than an Optometrist which was the biggest selling point for me.

I got Lasek with Wavefront, the surgery was really quick and painless and although it was a little uncomfortable for a few days afterwards it's the best money I've ever spent.

If you want to know anymore feel free to PM me

Your prescription needs to have stayed the same for 2 years and generally this will be when you're 19/20. I'd advised waiting until your eyes have fully developed
