hi... not sure if anyone can advise

If your birth mother is not well enough to look after you and subsuquently dies and you are adopted by her sister ( your aunt ) and some time later the owner of the family home (mother and aunts father, your grandfather ) dies, is the son/daughter of the birth mother who could not look after the child intilted to the birth mother portion of the house, or is the fact that she was adopted by her sister cancel this???

    hope this is cleat

Yes, I imagine you would have some kind of claim to your birth mother's inheritance, but only a solicitor specialising in probate could tell you for sure.
