Isulate & convert -attic ,with only slates no lining

    Hi

    I am doing a refurbishment on a 1940s house, the roof does,nt have any lining just the slate lime morter. I am looking to put a room up in it.

    I don,t want to take slates off , as would very expensive. Does anyone h.
    ave suggestions how best to insulate it. I have give a link to a photograph of it
