Here's a picture of him riding over a log at a cyclocross race Swords put on in 2008. Every other rider had to get off and jump it......

He's a fecking animal. I was at the race and it was both awe inspiring and disheartening to see how much he dominated the rest of the group. I've been on the same course as one or two of the other elites and seen them go by and been shocked at their speed, but Robin was just in another class. I saw him go by on the last lap with a five minute gap on everyone else and he was just cruising, hardly even out of breath. Scary stuff.

I worked on the RAS the year he rode it as well. He worked like a trojan for the team leader was well up there with the full time road racers as well.

Between cross country, cyclo-cross a and even a downhill title hes got well over 30 Irish titles.

I rode with MAD back in 1992 and 1993 when Seymour was still in the club and even then he was in a league of his own. I couldn't have pointed him out on the street as the only view I ever had of him was from behind as he disappeared off into the distance. In fact, about the only time I saw his face was when I looked back over my shoulder to see who was lapping me in a race! To be still performing so well 18 years later is amazing, fair play to him!
