Personal Loan - Payment Break

I am thinking of taking some unpaid leave (3mth approx) towards the end of 2011 to do some travelling/ charity work so will have no income :eek:. Does anybody know if payment breaks/ moratoriums are allowed on personal loans? I know its possible on my mortgage...
