Are there delays in Shannon these days? What is the normal timescale to register a change of ownership and send out a new VRC?

Always been less than a week here, got a log book in last week so I'd say it took about 4 working days

Would't worry , often seen it taking 2 weeks, it depends how busy they are.

    You will have to wait.

Just download form RF100A form motortax.ie and tax the car using that.

I waited 3 weeks for paper work to come through last march.

I would imagine there would be some delays at this time of year with staff taking annual leave.

Mine took about six weeks as the original log book was lost in the post. Had to get a form from the gards, and go to Model Farm Rd to deliver it in person.

In the meantime, had to drive about with a copy of the form in my glove box in case of a pull, as of couse unable to tax the car without the log book!

The new one took about a week to come.

It will be dated back to the date that was wrote on the form. It does not matter how long it takes to process.
