GP and consultant saying I'm not.
    How do I resolve this?
It only involves 3 mornings a week but roundtrip is 3h.
Employer will not agree to me working from home.
I feel like I'm being cornered.
    Any advice gratefully appreciated,

the consultant has the final say, it is possible that the companys dr. is just a gp, explain the situation to you dr and your consultant, also state that you are bound to take their advise, consultants are usually snobs, they do not like people doubting their judgement, i am speaking from experience here.
