Kane and lynch demo is up on the playstation store in the plus section. its ment to be plus exclusive for 2 days or a week. But sony have messed up and for the moment its available to download for everyone..

Played it and didn't think much of it. It has a weird camera that's very jumpy and goes hazy when you run. It made me kind of car sick but i am dying with a flu right now so maybe its that !!

And the voice work seems a bit off. Dont think ill be buying it maybe a renter as there is nothing new out till septemberish.

Heard about the action running camera, apparently you will be able to turn it off. I'll give the demo a go when it comes out for us poor non Plus people

It certainly looks better than the first game. I am not sold though. Something doesn't feel right.

i enjoyed the demo taught it was very good but i can see myself having way more fun with my friend playing the story mode online , fragile alliance mode for online is basically the same as the first its boring after the 2nd playthrough , cops sliding and glitching all over the place funny :P, im getting it on day one

Downloaded it before sony copped on! It looks better than the first game, but that seems to be the only improvement. The camera viewpoint seemed interesting in previews but in practice it makes me feel slightly dizzy, it gets worse when you sprint. Audio seems slightly odd and the demo is very short. Tried to play multiplayer but it froze my ps3 :mad: They should have abandoned kane & lynch altogether and given us another Hitman game!

Trying to play the multiplayer froze my ps3 too. Game itself seems alright. Co-op would be good, but the first one was such a mess i don't think i'll be buying this.

I'd be of the opinion that Freedom Fighters is a fair bit different to Kane And Lynch and beyond good.

Multiplayer froze my PS3 as well. Alas.

Interesting presentation, although indeed headache inducing after prolonged exposure. Fairly basic gameplay wise, if grittier than the norm. Ambitious style, but don't know if the YouTube camera and gameplay will wear thin quickly. For now, it looks like it might not be worthy of a playthrough.

Managed to get into a multiplayer game last night. There's only one mode available. Fragile alliance. You shoot some guys, steal their money and then have to get to a getaway van fighting cops on the way. People on your team can kill you too to steal whatever money you've got.

Thing is you have to play the same map 3 times in a row. Pretty boring, I only played 2 rounds and turned it off.

Is this game spose to look like you are a camera man following the boys? the way the screen goes crainy and blurry when running and there is a weird lighting effect like 2 lines going down the screen sometimes? I turned on the stability camera, made the gameplay a small bit better. I never played the 1st but I was expecting this game to better (based off demo anyway)

Funnily enough I thought the demo for the first one was far superior to the full game. I fear the same might happen with this.

the reviews are in and its taken a battering. the obvious drawbacks are valid.. still, after the PG wilderness of the summer it may as well've bn the case to me that nothing at all was released. n so for me this metacritic 66 is still a visceral and realistic shot in the arm - i'll pick up this bad boy tomorrow. to tide me over til poor mans GTA, Mafia poo.

Did nobody learn their lesson from K&L 1, any game that doesn't show any screen shots of any of the game play in the TV trailer or on the back of the box is hiding something, and that something is that it's absolutely $hite.

K&L 1 is the worst game I have ever played.

The demo absolutely sucked.

The amount of times I was shot in cover was ridiculous. I'd be standing in "cover" with half my body hanging out the side getting absolutely pinged by a regular grunt while I struggle to land one shot with what seemed to be something akin to a potato gun.

Dreadful, wouldn't even rent the thing.
