running tracks dun laoghaire area

    hi all :) i would like to start running again and would like to use a running track for the first training sessions. is there one in the sandycove/dun laoghaire area one can use without being a member?? thanks a million and happy runs

    Closest one i can think of is Belfield not sure if anyone knows anyone nearer?

    There is a very old one in kilbogget park (Ballybrack), its not that red springy stuff but is good if you want to do a know distance. I haven't used it in 3-4 years so can't conferm its condition but might be worth checking out, you dont need to be a member. Its just open to the public...

    Other option other then belfield is Irishtown stadium. Its a nice track and is only a few euro to use

    I use that one on occasions when I'm in Dublin. Last time I was there a few months ago and it was perfectly fine. It's a dirt surface though, keep that in mind.
