    Hey Ladies,

Im not sure If this has been mentioned before but I wanted to share this wonderful new website with you:
    http://theantiroom.wordpress.com/about/

    The Blurb:
Welcome to the Anti-Room, the home of many Irish ladies writing about everything from fashion to feminism, pop culture to politics, and lots of things we haven’t even thought of yet. The Anti-Room was founded in 2008 by four Dublin-based journalists, including Anna Carey, Edel Coffey and Sinéad Gleeson, who initially wrote under pseudonyms. Now with Carey, Coffey and Gleeson as the site’s managers and editors, the blog has expanded to welcome a wide range of regular contributors. All opinions are the contributors’ own.

Its got some of my favourite Irish female journo's on there such as Sinead Gleeson and Rosemary McCabe. The posts range from everything on PETA's use of sexist imagery to the lack of Irish women in record stores to fashion pieces.

    Check it out :)

Weird name... Is it a pun on anteroom?

    I was wondering that too.

I assume if there are four of them then someone knew the real spelling.

the vagina had been described as the anteroom to the womb :pac:

It is a space were women can post and blog and objected to things in society they don't agree with.

Anyone see the problem there? I know it says 'including' so it doesn't have to mention all of them but it just strikes me as a bit odd! Pedantic? Yes, sorry :D

Edit: Will PM a mod about my yellow card. I apologise if the OP thought that the above was an attack on her, the piece I've quoted above is a direct quote from the website and not an attack on the OP at all. Apologies if it was taken out of context.
