Just wondering what is the healthyest form of bread?

Depends what you want to achieve. As I understand it the healthiest bread is sourdough / fermented. You're probably looking at making this yourself.

Brown versus a wrap? I'd take brown. The (white I'm assuming) wrap is no different to white bread really. It is probably a lower total calorie count though.

    basically lowest fat/calorie content

Gram for gram they're going to be almost exactly the same. Depending on the size of the wrap, I would say that it is likely to have less calories versus a brown bread sandwich.

Just looking at what I have in the cupboard, the wholemeal bread I have is 95kcal per slice, so a sandwich would have 190kcal from the bread, the wraps I have (from aldi, fairly big ones, not the small ones you get in fajita kits) are around 200kcal as well. So it would be much of a muchness in terms of calories.
Oops, forgot to answer your question re fat., the brown bread has less than a gram of fat per slice, but the wraps have over 4 grams each, so from that point of view the brown bread would be a better choice.
Proper brown bread would probably be a bit less per slice but the slices are smaller so I don't know would you be making a sandwich out of that?

I would say the best sandwich is no sandwich. I'm not trying to be a smart arse. If you're trying to lose weight I would suggest eating some chicken breast or tuna and a nice big salad for lunch.

    jw297: That's interesting stuff. Thanks. :)

    HAHAHAHA.

Yeah, I'm a big bread fan as well. I know it's not good for me but I think good bread is so flippin' delicious. I had a lay off from the fighting for a few months over Christmas and the early new year and PIGGED OUT on bread. :D
