    Hi,
    I have arts in NUIG as no.2 on my cao.
    As I have also applied to England, its unlikely that I will acually end up in Galway.

    But just in case, was wondering whether its possible to get last minute student accommodation near the university in, say, corrib village. Or would all these places be full by the end of August?

    I know quite a few people who hadn't NUIG as first but ended up getting it and stayed in Corrib. If you find out you're heading to Galway give them a ring asap and you should be grand, bear in mind that a lot of other people will be doing that on offers day aswel! :)
