It will be done later on today when the Ulster and Connacht results are in. Last week it was at the end of the Sunday game but TV3 have the later game today so maybe they might have it. Looks like they will be played this coming weekend. GAA.ie says Saturday the 24th.

    cheers for that

    Finally:

The draws for the fourth round of the GAA Football Qualifier and the All Ireland Hurling Quarter Finals will take place in McHale Park, Castlebar on Sunday evening after the Connacht Senior Football Final.

The venues are not determined on a home and away basis.:) (a road trip possibly!!!!!)

The draw will be screened live on TV3 and posted on www.gaa.ie soon afterwards. The CCCC will meet on Monday when all times, dates and venues for the various Qualifier games will be confirmed.

    Louth v Dublin
    Limerick v Cork
    Monaghan v Kildare
    Sligo v Down

All potentially very good games.plenty to wet the appetite.

Great draws TBH. Can't wait for the Louth-Dublin match. Sligo-Down is a cracking tie.

I don't think there will be any easy wins for anyone in those games.

Louth/Dublin is intriguing, I think if Louth put all the crap the last few weeks behind them they'll really put it up to the Dubs. Winner: Louth

Cork should beat Limerick but I expect Limerick to give them a real go, just like they did against Kerry. Winner: Cork.

Kildare have built up real momentum in the qualifiers and Monagahn will surely be deflated after their hammering today. Winner: Kildare

Sligo again will be deflated after today, but I can see them beating Down in a tight affair. Winner: Sligo

    Just a couple of q's....
Are the games supposed to be in neutral venues? If so will Louth Dublin be in Navan ?

And can teams who have met at Provincial stage meet in the All Ireland stage?
    Ta.

If you mean you'd rather Cork get Dublin, then it wasn't possible.

as far as im aware dublin class parnell park as their "home" ground, so croke park is neutral (me hole)

louth-dublin and kildare-monaghan could be a double header in croker maybe.

But Dublin footballers play all their home matches in croke park? That's abit ridiculous but I'm sure louth won't mind croke park. Still though

Not all, just the majority of Championship games.

We have played in Parnell in the Championship in 2004.

I'm sure the players would rather play at Parnell all the time for obvious reasons. I know a lot of the fans, myself inclusive would.

Ah fair 'nuff :) But it's still moreso the fact that it's supposed to be a neutral venue and croke park isn't really that neutral :/
But then again...the fixtures haven't been released yet soooo..

Oh and regards cork drawing limerick, that was the draw I didn't want. Even christy cooney was laughing when they were both drawn :o

To be perfectly honest Dublin playing in Croker is as much a hindrance to them as it is a help so if I was from Louth I wouldn't mind playing there too much.

    I'd say
Louth/Dub amd Monaghan/Kildare will be played in Croker.

Sligo/Down will be played somewhere like Cavan.

And the Limerick/Cork match possibly in Thurles, or Killarney.

    LOUTH V DUBLIN
    LIMERICK V CORK
    MONAGHAN V KILDARE
    SLIGO V DOWN

Where does everyone think (or where should) the GAA will put these games on and what time?

    My prediction:

    Saturday 24th July

Monaghan v Kildare (Croke Park 3.00pm)
Limerick v Cork (Fitzgerald Stadium 3.00pm)
Louth v Dublin (Croke Park 5.00pm)
    Sligo v Down (Portlaoise 7.00pm)

And what are the results going to be.

    My prediction:

    Kildare
    Cork
    Dublin
    Sligo

I was thinking they should twin Cork v Limerick and Tipp v Galway double header the Gaelic Grounds. totally Ridiculous throwing them up to Croker. perhaps have them in thurles even as Galway owe us a fixture from 2003 when we played them in Pearse stadium.
Then again there is the element perhaps of a Cork double header as its unfair to expect them to go all over the country at the weekend and they are playing Antrim.

    So sligo v down
    kildare v monaghan
    louth v dublin
    cork v antrim..........
    .....will probably be in croker

Tipp v Galway and Cork v Limerick may follow

Maybe 3 games Saturday and 3 Sunday with a Cork double header on one of the days. most likely outcome imo

Parnell park is Dublin's home ground, the fact they can draw an attendance higher than capacity of parnell means that they have to move to a bigger venue.

Louth have to play some of their home games in Navan and they have played in Croker plenty of times this year. They won't care in the slightest and would probably prefer the venue.

The qualifiers are on saturday and hurlers on sunday.

We are talking about potentially Monaghan / Kildare being played in Croker with Dublin / Louth.

Limerick v Cork must be held at a neutral venue so that rules the Gaelic Grounds out. It will most likely be on in Killarney. I would imagine that Tipp v Galway will be held in Portlaoise or Tullamore. Ennis would be ideal for this game but Cusack Park might not be big enough for the expected attendance.

I'd say the GAA will put the cork double header in croker on sunday and put the tipp galway match in the gaelic grounds. So likely matches:

    Saturday

    Football
Monaghan v Kildare (Croke Park 3.00pm) RTE
    Louth v Dublin (Croke Park 5.00pm) TV3
    Sligo v Down (Portlaoise 7.00pm)

    Sunday

    Football
Limerick v Cork (Croke Park 2.00pm)
    Hurling
Cork v Antrim (Croke Park 4.00pm) RTE
Tipperary v Galway (Gaelic Grounds 2.00pm) RTE

    Something like that anyway.

Football is being held on Saturday. At least that's what was stated on the GAA website. It better be as i've booked Saturday off work so i can attend the Limerick-Cork game.

Won't happen so no need to strain the vocal chords.
Killarney, I imagine will be the venue for the cork/limerick match (that's if the gaa have any sense of course).

    Another fixed draw.

Limerick V Cork and Louth V Dublin are the only two fixtures that would draw up half decent crowds from that set of teams. Quel surprise... Let me guess, should Dublin progress, they will get Roscommon?

Hmmm don't think so. Not for the quarters anyway. They need to keep Dublin in for as long as possible. :D

Any half decent team would have a field day. We were awful, but surely we cannot play as badly again.

Incidentally, it was probably the worst we've played since the 2007 Semi when Cork hockeyed us...

because we are craving our revenge. It would be fantastic to see a Meath / Dublin All Ireland final. Two counties who actually hate each other contesting the All Ireland final.

Hate is too strong a word, but in my opinion it is definately the most passionate rivalry in gaelic football.

I think we can use hate, the counties literally don't like each other. Is there ever any Meath fans on the hill when they play Dublin?, no because of the passion and slight hatred the fans have for each other.

yep, Breffni park would be the obvious choice for sligo / down match.

almost certainly a double header in croker for the monaghan and dublin games.
