    Hey guys,

    I've managed to put together the advert I wanted but I was told to allow for a 5mm bleed all round. Now this is probably a stupid question.. :o but dows that mean I take 5mm off the size of the advert OR that I place margins within the advert? If it's placing margins how do I do that? And also do I leave these margins plain white or the same colour as the rest of the advert?

    It means there should be nothing within the outermost 5mm of the image that can't be "lost", as that bit might be cut of, or blended with something else, or blotted out by something.

    As long as your subject isn't right up against the edge of the image.. you won't have a problem.
