i have a question for someone who knows anything about welding.

i want to attach this to, say, one of these.

the railings are bolted onto the vertical posts, so they can be removed with a wrench and some amount of effort. ideally they can be used to cover the downstairs windows of a bus, or even to craft a rudementary zombie-plough. the bus has lotsa torque and can hold a moxy load of people or equipment.

my old school nearby has railings such as these, and theres a bus terminus nearby too. how to go about combining the two into some sort of badass bus [no chainsaws indoors please] for survival and entertainment?

I'm not a welder by trade, but I'm pretty handy at mashing bits together round the farm.

I would cut above the window and see if there is a main frame to weld the gates to [I think the upper half of those busses are just aluminium, which is kind of sh*t]

weld the bottom to the frame beneath the window and bob's your uncle.

To make it handier,I'd put a shackle on either side[like how it fixs to the posts] so you could loosen one to flip it outwards for a quick escape or general maintainence, just in case. You know?

or possible just an elongated pin [maybe just grind down the latch already on the gate] so it could be slippe dout and swung open like a door only horizontal so you can huff it if the need arises, but the inward stregth isn't compromised.

and you guys thought I was just a lazy student >.>

IMO dublin busses are quite fail for a 'caded vehicel the one's used in zed films are american made, steel frames with double wheels truck axels and a big mofo engine.I'd recommend the Bus eireann coache instead for engine power
