Need advice on a Moderator!

I'm thinking of changing my little 1417 Anschutz sporter for a S/A, and it looks like its gonna be a Ruger 10/22 :eek:

I would like to put it into a decent stock, stick a Lilja drop-in 21" target barrel and get a moderator stuck on for the bunnies! then i can clean up at all these gallety rifle comps too! (providing i fire the right number of shots.....just so the smart arses dont get that in before me! :rolleyes:)

To date all I am using on the Anschutz is one of the Scirocco mods, and it works fine with Eley Subs, shes a nice length - its only a 14" barrel!!

I'm thinkin the 21" Lilja on the Ruger will be a tad longer (7" to be precise!) and wondered if anyone could recommend a good over-barrel moderator for a .22lr to avoid making the unit much longer. I'll obviously have to get the barrel threaded etc to accept the mod.

Don't think I've ever seen an over barrel rimfire moderator, surely someone makes one though.

Wildcat whisper, is an over barrel, i use one , excellent mod.

Yes, as effective , slightly more in fact, i have both, more expensive than sak, but better built.

But is it 3 times better than the SAK??

I have put 100's of rounds down my 22lr using a SAK mod and find it does the job well @€;50

Has anyone experience using a DM80 on a 22lr?
