hi, i managed to scratch and crack rear bumped on 07 nissan almera saloon. hoping to replace with one from a dismantlers. presumably i need one from a saloon. anyone know what years would do me - looking around seems maybe 04 up. also if i got same colour (grey) could i save a lot on paint? presumably a used part even sprayed n fitted will be much cheaper then new. partfinder website gave me a few leads - anywhere else i should have a look.

finally other than cosmetic is there any issue with not getting a somewhat damaged bumper replaced

    thanks:)

How badly cracked is it? You should just be able to plastic weld it, skim with filler, and paint the affected area.

fairly well cracked - repair said he could weld it but any bang again would undo that

Any bang could crack a bumper anyway! I mean, you could repair yours, and if it gets a thump, it'll break. Or you could buy a new one, and if it gets a thump, it'll break. Or you could repair yours, save money, and be lucky enough not to get another thump again in your ownership period of the car.
