Ipod touch poor wifi pickup

    Hi guys,
    Any idea how to enhance the ability of one's ipod touch to connect up to wifi?My ipod touch seems to be particularly poor at picking up networks.Is there any applications available in the apple store to enhance the ability to pick up a wifi network?

    If you're on ios4 and you have an 802.11n router at home you need to fiddle with some router settings. It should then be fine.

    No problems picking up my 3 wireless @ home but my ipod touch is crap at detecting wifi in town.My mates mobile phone an E50 can pick up loads of networks??

    Not much can be done then really. All devices can be a bit flaky with wireless
