Going unreg for this as quite a few people on here know me.

My stuff keeps getting moved around during the day. My roommate's girlfriend is often knocking about the place while we are at work, but I'm not sure that she would be interest in all of the things that get moved. My g/f and I have some 'private' dvds and toys that we use from time to time. These get moved/go missing on occasion. Also, my laptop moves about. This has been going on regularly for about 3 weeks- not every day but 3-ish times per week.

Not sure how to bring this up as it is a bit of a sensitive issue.

Two suggestions have been on here quite a bit

    (a) Leave them a note along the lines of "stop messing with my stuff".

    (b) Set up a webcam to record with the laptop.

Realise that there is a risk of a bit of a falling out, but is that any worse than the current situation.

Would you just ask if someone has been in your room/used your laptop even, without going into detail - the fact you've noticed may make them think twice?

If confronting them isn't an option, perhaps invest in a lockable box or suitcase and put everything you don't want meddled with in there? And stick a big password on your laptop.

    Best of luck.
