    Hi All

Just a quick post about o2.

I dropped into the o2 store in newbridge today to enquire about the lists that everyone is currently on in various other stores.

They tell me that they got a mail from HQ this am telling all store managers that if they have been taking a list for the device to immediately call or mail the customer to tell them that under no circumstances will they be reserving any iPhones. If the customer wants the iPhone 4 when its released that it will be strictly on a first come first served basis.

He had no reason to lie and went as far as to say he reckons it will be August before launch in Ireland after the recall thats to be announced later today, his crystal ball must be good!!!!

That makes sense after O2 make such an outstanding balls-up of the previous launches.

And the reason the others didn't make such as balls up is because they didn't have the iphone to do so:rolleyes:;)

I rang yesterday enquiring about my eligibility for an upgrade and the customer care agent told me that it'd be September at the earliest. She also told me I wasn't eligible for an upgrade till November. Ah well. looks like I'll be going with Vodafone then.
