false tan subsitute

Hi everyone,
I have a wedding in a few weeks and am leaving for my holiday the next day. I am looking for a false tan or something that will be tanning on the day but will wash off after the wedding. I have no experience with false tans or make up and need help! I got a spray tan before and i had a bad experience also i dont really want a false tan hanging around for a few days.
any ideas?

Use Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs all over your body..apply lightly with a mitt and it will give you a nice glow that will stay put if it rains or if someone spills a drink on you but will wash off with a quick scrub in the shower that night or next morning. You can get different shades to suit your skin tone. I have used it all over my body for last minute nights out when I havent fake tanned and all my friends do too. You could use other instant wash off tans like Rimmel Sunshimmer but if it rains on the day you will be f*cked:p

Sally Hansen is supposedly the goddess of instant tan, but I have a Rimmell Sun shimmer mousse thingy that I got about 2 years ago and it's feckin brilliant.

Goes on like a dream, you hardly need to blend it and IIRC it was about 4 quid. I got rained on waiting on the bus to town whilst wearing it last week and it didn't streak at all, so maybe it's more resistant than the gels/creams.

+1 for Sally Hansen!

Sun Shimmer isn't too bad either, however I find it does tend to "clog" in your pores, especially on the legs. Also, as previous posters have mentioned, it's not as water resistant as Sally Hansen so if you get a drink spilt on you it WILL run and streak.

I also tend not to use it because during the day as you wash your hands after using the bathroom, it transfers from the hands leaving you with tanned arms and white hands :eek: Not a great look!

The only thing you'd need to watch with Sally Hansen is that you pick the correct shade for your skintone. Most good pharmacies will reccommend which one will be suitable for you, but I'd guess that unless you're really sallow naturally you should tend towards the lighter end of the spectrum.

Hey ya, Congrats first on your big day ! I would go for a one day tan - as more and more tan are getting the "natural" look without making you all orangy - . Check out the new SunFx tan and ask for the Chocolate color - it's fantastic for girls with fair skin ... always get it done - and got compliments.

Yes. I love Sally Hansen, I use the lightest one as I am so pale. It's really good and cheap! Only 9.31 in Dunnes right now, it washes off easily aswell and I have even used it on my face so I didn't have to use foundation. It went on so well. 10/10

Yep have to agree, Sally hansen..medium glow is the way to go. Looks natural and goes on so easy. Washes off realy easy also.

Hey everyone, i'm curious, roughly how many full leg applications would you get out of one can of the sally hansen airbrush legs?

I get about three full body tans out of one, but i use it for everywhere, so i'd say at least 5 for just legs. A bit pricey - but AMAZING
