Outgrown suit after two wears!! What to do...?

    Hey all.

I bought a new suit at Christmas, a Daniel Graham dark grey pinstripe one, for €175. Fit perfectly then, and wore it to two family weddings at Christmas, nothing since.

Anyways, a hard seven months in the gym followed, and I've managed to put on more size, which I'm delighted about.
However, I've a family wedding (again!) in two weeks time and I just tried on the suit... too small across the shoulders! Trousers fit fine, but jacket is definitely too small.

Not sure what to do... sell privately, or do a trade in? I'm just not sure where in Dublin do trade-in's?
    What's the general consensus?

Could you re-buy just the jacket, seeing as how the trousers still fit?

You could sell the jacket on adverts.ie or ebay. Make sure to mention how much it's been worn, how much it originally cost and put up some good pictures.

Could you not just buy another suit?

Chances are I'll be putting on more size so it's kinda pointless I think?

Goodness maybe rent a suit jacket then.

Get a new suit. Shoulders are the most difficult if not impossible area of jacket to change. Avoid the slimfit jackets nd be sure to leave a little growth room in your new choice. A well constructed jacket will allow you to grow a bit more without looking like it's been stretched.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Maybe buy a bigger jacket for your expected end size and stuff it with toilet paper :o

If you get any bigger you will end up like the Hulk

Rent a suit if you are planning on putting on more mass. Not worth buying one for just one day. A lot of mens shops do a rental service.
