What should the Signal Quality bar be reading on a Sky box ? Mine is about a quater full most of the time and when it rains, be it light or heavy it drops to zero and I lose the picture on all channels. This is a new install I have done about two months ago, last system I had I never lost picture no matter what type of weather.

Get it checked, sounds like dish not aligned properly

I went out and had a look at the dish and compared it to the neighbours dishes and mine is offset to theirs. Rang Sky up and they're sending an engineer out to fix it.

It would still be interesting to know what the bar should be reading on the box. Should it be full or are people generally getting less than that?

Signal strenght on the boxes are now showing full and quality near full on all inputs.

After he adjusted the dish, on the signal / quality box meter he had the readouts for the signal strenght on all outputs are now reading 92 - 98% and the signal quality reading 83 - 91%.
According to him I should have no trouble now as the readings were 48 - 60 for the signal strength and 35 - 47 on the quality before he fixed it.
