Out of contract & iphone 3GS unlocked - what next?

    Okay - so I recently cancelled my iphone contract with O2 and unlocked my iphone via O2. I now want to move network.
    Is it a simple move? Will my iPhone 3GS work without issues on Meteor or 3?

    Just signed up for Meteor Bill pay Lite. A tenner a month 50 mins and 50 texts. Also got a data add on of 250MB for 4.99 per month. Total 14.99 a month compared to O2's 40 per month. I am not a heavy user but even if I go over the Meteor usage limits my bill would be significantly less than 40.

    This isn't an ad, or an offer to sell, but would anyone know what sort of money one should be looking to get for an unlocked 32gb 3GS that is in good nick?

    Ok , can I put this sim from my modem into my unlocked Iphone? Please say yes!:D

    I really doubt it. There's no voice call or text functionailty with that sim as fair as I know.

    You can but be very careful, my mates daughter put his o2 broadband sim in her phone without him knowing and ran up an 800 euro bill in one month.

    I'm in the same boat, unlocked and contract free (thanks for the tip boards) had been on a ridiculous bill of about €60 so I'm looking at a move to Vfone on the Perfect Choice Access Plus 150: that's €45 with 150 mins/150 txtx/2GB plus free vf to vf calls.

    My main question is: Is the VF network at least to the same standard as O2? My reception hasn't ever been great (downside of iphone) but I certainly don't want it to get any worse!

    If you can help me out here I'd appreciate it.
