    Hi Folks,
Can anyone help me on this one. I was put on a 3-day week some months back due to shortage of work. In the past 2 weeks or so there has been some extra work going however I have not been asked to go back on a 4 or 5 day week. Instead they have decided to take on someone else for 1-2 days per week. Surely I should have first refusal on the extra work. Any help appreciated.

Yes, but only if the work was suitable for you. In other words wasn't specailisied or conflicted with the work your doing now.
