My mate was actually up for directing this, but it went to Sam Raimi instead. I hadn't heard it had gone to someone else, so I can't wait to tell him. :D

Oh how I wish Robert Pattinson is one of those vamps that are beaten to death!

Well it's not Preacher, but sounds interesting. Was Legion any good?

    *bump*

Looks good - vampires, post-apocalyptic future, chop-socky, guns, cool crucifix/shuriken thingamajigs.
    Did I mention vampires? :)

One I'll be catching in the big screen, for sure.

Looks ok, but I won't hold my breath! For me the trailer screamed Judge Dredd + Equilibrium with vampires. But sure we'll see, we'll see.

Not a bad comparison, I was also reminded of Perfect Creature when I saw the trailer.

I thought it was this/ film when I saw the title. I went to see it with my parents when I was 16. Imagine my horror when there was a very graphic sex scene with 2 men in it. My dad didn't know where to look, I didn't know where to look. My mam? She loved it and said it would give me good grounding.

Oh lord. Poor Paul Bettany. First Legion and now this? I think a phonecall to the agent is on the cards.

Bettany has become a joke! And it's a shame because this is the same guy i saw rock the screen in Gangster No.1! He's a talented guy.

But this has got to stop!

Went to see this last night.
Bloody hell, up there with some of the worst films I have ever seen.
The only way to describe it as a period piece, set in the future, vamp-sci-fi with a western feel.
Very convoluted, I know it's taken from a comic that is similar, but the meshing of all the genres just doesn't seem to work.

Reminded me of The Way Back, except The Way Back was much better.
About a third of the film is people driving across barren landscapes on futuristic motorbikes.

    Really, really, bad.

Just back from this film , i have to say i loved it and can really see a 2nd and 3rd. The only drawback was it was in 3D. The last 2 films i went to see in 3d were ruined by it to be honest.

Paul Bettany is one of the luckiest men alive.

Watched it last night, pretty average.A mishmash of Mad Max,Blade and every post apocalyptic movie made.If I'd paid into a cinema to see it I'd feel very shortchanged.

I thought it was decent enough, far better than the 1/5 reviews given by some newspapers.
Its very short at 76 minutes to the credits ,it could have done with an extra 15 minutes to flesh out the story a bit,I get the feeling a good chunk of the movie was left on the cutting room floor.

As far as vampire\post apocalyptic movies go it's ok. A good waste of an hour and a half but nothing more. Few good fight scenes but no real gripping climax.

I did like their take on the vampire though (with the cool intro that reminded me of the one from the video game, Dante's Inferno).

It had a lot of potential and didn't live up to any of it.

Yes ,the intro was excellent and I think the film would be very suited to a video game .

One of the ****test films I have seen in a long time. It clocks in at about 84 minutes and the majority of that is predictable and boring rubbish.

Yes watched this the other night on Sky and it seemed very short not great overall, Karl Urban is a tad ott as the villian but he is the best part of the film imo

Lily Collins looked way too young as a love interest for Cam Gigandet
