The Gresham Hotel Dublin

    Hi Guys:)

I am thinking of staying in this hotel some weekend over the Summer. In terms of convenience-it is perfect, right on O'Connell St. However, what I'm worried about is the noise-has anybody experience of staying in this hotel? And would you recommend the hotel generally?

    Thank you:D

*I am quite fussy when it comes to hotels:o

I'm sure it's a lovely hotel, but I think somewhere like the Westin would be more central. It's right between Henry St & Grafton St, beside Trinity. So it's probably more central.

My sister in law stayed there around a year and half ago when they were over from France and whilst the lobby and bars are nice the room left a lot to be desired given the hotels status.

I would say have a look at some other hotels like the Westin or if you like a nice boutique hotel the Morgan in Temple Bar. I definitely wouldn't recommend the Gresham for the price.
