we have about 30 acres and been out of the reps for about 6years so its getting out of control in some places. I don't even know if this is possible to do but if anyone knows of any places preferrably in north kildare or south meath area.

Why not get a contractor in at €40 ph? He'll be twice as fast as you and responsible for any damage to machine. There is also the cost of diesel to consider in comparing the two.

Alexander Mills in Benburb, County Tyrone are the only company that i know that will hire a hedgecutter on a weekly rate. I don't know about hiring a tractor from them, but they have a lot in stock, so i'm sure that they would be willing to hire one to you. They deliver hired machines anywhere. I don't know about prices, but they often publish prices in their add in the farmers journal. Its quite a big one in the classified section, you can't miss it.

I have never hired from them but have bought a few differenmt machines. Found them good to deal with and anything that I bought from them was checked to the last and has always been reliable.

Slight change of topic: just wondering I am looking to purchase a McConnel PA6500T 2004 - 2006. I have seen two for sale in the UK, they seem to be very clean machines, 77hp, pumps, just wondering does anyone know anything about them or have any experience with these machines.
