Hi there. Looking for suggestions for a lads holiday. Gang of about six in mid to late 20's. Not interested in the traditional "package" style sun holiday. Talking about late Aug late September.

What are you interested in doing while on holiday?

Well you've the standard have a few drinks chase cailiní on the to do list.

But we'd be game ball for any sort of physical activity. Wouldn't mind going to a spot to take in a game or go to a concert etc.

Oktoberfest has been suggested. Thats the kind of out of the box suggestion we're looking for!!

I'd highly recommend Moscow Tbh. For a group of single guys its an absolute blast. Pitch in some money together beforehand and arrange a reputable tour guide & translator (I suggest a male guide rather than a female, since there's more understanding and removes complications.)

Good exchange rates. Flights are quite cheap. Ignore hotels, and rent an apartment or two. They can be very reasonable. Some of the best clubs, bars and restaurants I have seen to date I found in Moscow.. Great looking girls, with good personalities, and not shy about having some no strings fun :D

As for activities there's loads to choose from apart from the usual tourist sites. I'd recommend checking out some of the firing ranges within the city itself, since its a lot of fun to fire off a AK, or other such weapons.

My best mate married a girl from Moscow, and I had the opportunity to spend a week there mostly on my own. Fantastic experience. And you'll come home with plenty of stories for the friends that missed out.

I'd recommend Octoberfest for a few days but a whole week might end in someone dying.
6 of us went over there a couple of years ago and had brilliant craic. You'd be in a beer tent for 12 everyday and earlier on Saturdays or you won't get a seat. We stayed in a camping site.
Also, Berlin is good, lots of touristy things to see and good beer and cheap hostels.
You'd could get a soccer match in too.
