    Hi,

    An odd one. My iphone stopped syncing with my work exchange account a couple of weeks ago.

    It is an iPhone 3G with 4.0 operating system. It is a factory unlocked italian phone.

    When you refresh the exchange account it asks you to put in the password which I do, but it still does not connect.

    When you change the settings it can not verify the change.

    It seems to have happned not long after the phone was upgraded to 4.0 but it did work since the upgrade to 4.0

    I checked my office PC and the settings have not changed they are still the same.

    Any ideas.

    :confused::confused::confused:

    this happens to me the odd time, a reboot or hard reset has always cured it.

    Stopping exchange syncing Has happened to me numerous times. I just completely delete the account on the Iphone and setup from scratch. However the connection to the server failed usually indicates a problem with our exchange server when I get that message. I presume you are able to log into the web based exchange view using your domain username and password?

    dingding is the web based email that you are accessing from home your exchange account or your outlook mobile account? There are different settings for both on exchange server. (exchange is xx.xxx.xx.xx/exchange mobile is xx.xxx.xx.xx/oma) If you can access the oma account the problem is with the phone set up if not the problem is on the exchange server or firewall.
