Sky digibox FTA 'Other channels' disappearing

    Hi all,
I currently have a Sky digibox which I am only using for the free to air channels (BBC, ITV etc etc). I was paying a subscription but had to cancel it after 3 years. I have added more channels such as Channel 4 etc and saved this in the ‘other channels’ folder on the digibox. However, I’ve noticed that if I store anymore than 6 the whole list is wiped and I have to manually add all the channels again which is a pain. Does anyone know what I might do to prevent this? I have read that it is a glitch in the software but I would of thought it would store more than 6! The box I have is:
    Model: Pace
    Model No: 1.0.55
    Version No: 9FOA03S
    Operating System Version: 1.2S4FM
    EPG S/W Version: 3.8.8

If it cannot be solved would I be better off getting another FTA receiver and store all the channels in the favourites? The EPG with the current skybox is handy but I assume that the freesat receivers nowadays have some sort of EPG? I also find the ‘Autoview’ feature on the SKY box to be very handy for recording sky channels when I’m away so FTA box would have to have this feature. Any ideas where I might get one an price?

So, what would be my best choice based on what I want? I cannot hack having to tune in channels every time I might want to watch one:mad:.

    Thanks all.

I do indeed, I will turn it off, plug out the card and power on again. What should I expect?

    bbc1 on 101, bbc2 on 102 itv on103 .. etc
all bbc channels and itv channels. you should only have to add ch5 to other channels.
