Looking to buy a tent for a family of 5. 3 children under 10. Know nothing about camping so would appreciate any pointers.

    Thanks

i was buying one before a few years ago and popped into one of the bigger camping stores in town. run through what you need with them, get a brochure, go through your options, etc. have a look around a couple of shops.

There is a place in the kildare outlet village that caters for family sized tents.

Bit late now, but Millets have a good sale at the moment with up to 70% off (don't know what quality is like though?) and http://www.53degreesnorth.ie/Tents/ have some good deals too.
