Event cancelled, but no refund yet.

    Myself and 2 friends booked to go speed dating almost 4 weeks ago, when we arrived at the venue we discovered it had been cancelled and for some reason we hadn't been informed. Since then we have rang several times he answered the first call and was a bit put out when we didn't want to change dates but said he would give us a refund. The refund never arrived and since then the guy won't answer the phone or call us back. Is there anything we can do to get our money back apart from going to one of his events and making a scene??
