Family Income Suppliment (FIS) question

    Hi,

Hoping someone is able to answer this very quick one.

My Sister in law is thinking of applying for the FIS but is somehow under the impression that if she does apply (they do qualify and come under the required cut-off/limit) then her partner (my Brother) will lose his JSA (she is working) ?

I can't actually find anything on the relevant websites where it says anything like this at all but she is adamant it is the case that he will lose his JSA if she applies (and is successful) for FIS.

Anyone able to set that one straight at all for sure ?
