Perhaps he is starting to realise he has only made 2 good films. hes not directing this one b ut he is producing it.

    Thoughts?

Think this is directed by the guy that did Quarintine, the american remake of rec.Think it looks awful, only thing it probably has going for it is that Shamlimalamalinaingnong isn't directing it. Apparently its the first in a series of films based on ideas by him.

I hope studios realise soon that his name is not going to get people into theatres :( Or at the very least, his name shouldn't get people into theatres.

Definitely seems to be an advancement of the Shyamalan brand name in my eyes - as I've said before, he's one of the few directors whose name is always emphasised. Looks pretty bad to me, dialogue in particular seems a bit forced from the trailer (well, not that you can tell much). Will wait and see what the feedback is, but can't say I'm particularly optimistic!
