    Hi all,

This is my first post so hope someone can help me!
I have a 1997 polo and it failed the nct on emissons, the lambda reading was 1.11 and it should be between 0.97 - 1.03. Id say that the catalytic convertor needs to be replaced but is there a cheaper way?maybe using treament on the engine? If anyone has any suggestions that would be great!

    thanks!

Try Diptane - should bring it down.
