    Hey folks,

Just wondering if anyone here knows of a shop in town or in Ireland that sell Black Nitrile Gloves. I haven't been able to find anything on google myself. Was only really finding results from the US and I don't want to order anything from oversees considering I only want one box.
I've seen Tattoo artists wearing Black nitrile gloves before and was curious if anyone here knows where to get them.

    Cheers,

    MadMardegan

Black, blue, red, green, white, clear, pink nitrile gloves all do the exact same job. Why does it have to be black gloves, when you can get blue, white and clear ones in pharmacy's around Ireland for a fraction of what you'd pay for importing black gloves from the US. It makes no sense.

I know they're the same as all the other gloves except for colours, and I do use blue nitriles on a daily basis in work but the black is just something I want. :)

    Nah not like that.

They're actually for a friend. What they want them for I've no idea but I said I'd try and get them :P

Black wouldn't be approved for EMS or medical work as they don't show contamination clearly.

That's not the intended purpose ;)

Theyre probably so difficult to find due to their lack of functionality in terms of contamination. Heres some on amazon

A girl in work uses them as she can't use our standard gloves, I do know they cost a good bit more. The HSE will only send her two boxes at a time, and keep reminding her of the extra cost everytime she needs more:rolleyes:

What would a reason be to use black gloves over blue or any other colour?

The have an minor allergy that is provoked by the standard ones, and for some reason the black or the blue ones are the only one she can use. TBH I'm not actually sure what the difference is between our standard ones and the ones she uses is, but the is some difference. The person in question would be a General Assistant in my Service, so part of her role would involve supervising urine samples, so she would spend a good bit of her day with gloves on.

There is no problem pointing out something somebody is looking for in my opinion.
