I know 5% isn't much but if you buy a lot of your school books from the site I'm sure it'll be a good saving!

    The code is: 104

Did anyone order from these this year? Any problems?

I have, just a couple of books.

Missed delivery once, and it took a while to resend it other than that no problems

Thanks. I ordered 2 weeks ago, it's getting a bit close to the bone now. I emailed them yesterday, no reply as yet but hopefully all is okay.

Not looking good. No reply to email. No reply on phone to Customer Services, Order tracking or New Orders. It just rings out.

According to the online tracker there are no outstanding orders to me. The money left my account on the 6th August. Sh*te.

Same here. Ordered 9th August.Nothing has arrived as yet and tracking seems frozen on "processing". Rang and no answer on phones. No reply to email either. I contacted Axa via their website as it was thru link on their site I had accessed schoolbooks.ie. (7% discount). Anyway, axa replied immediately and requested my ref no to follow up. Hopefully it will do some good.

Success today- got a call back from axa and an email from schoolbooks at last. Im told to expect delivery mon or tues. It seems all is ok with schoolbooks, just slow communication and no-one to answer the phone?

Just say another happy customer here - we ordered about a month ago, put the order in on a Thursday - all arrived in a single package the following Monday :). I'd guess things have just slowed as the order volume has increased in August.

I have found there service very good but i did order the books over 3 weeks ago. They prob are very busy now. I cant fault them at all. I went into my local easons and they said they had to reorder most of the books on my list (NS) so wouldn't have them in for 2-3 weeks. This is what prompted me to shop online and will prob do the same next year saves a lot of hassel going from shop to shop and town to town looking for the books.

Well its bookstore for me too next year in any case. I wouldnt mind a delay once they at least acknowledge your communications- not good enough to get books barely in time (hopefully!)after promising 48 hr despatch and have no-one man the phones or reply to a request for an update.

    Hi Kayly :)

I've used easons.ie and omahonys.ie for school books before and had no problems at all.

One of my books from schoolbooks.ie is out of stock (they told me today ), yet I have been charged for it since 6th August.

I'm not looking forward to tryng to get a refund from them...

Hi to-kill-a(good one-only dawned on me just now!- Just read the book this month and bought the dvd..)
Yeah you will probably get a refund,in the fullness of time :) but when they're so hard to contact it's a pain- and you'll maybe need to buy one meantime if you want it in time for school. Ah the joy of it all, eh! Good luck with that.
Im not out of the woods yet, btw, my tracking link for an post does not recognise the number in my "shipped" email. I wait in hope. :D
