Do you really expect someone to lend you their car? I remember my next door neighbour a few years back, a romanian guy comes around to me one evening and asks to borrow my car and I told him to get get stuffed..

How did this idea work in your mind OP? What was the thought process (or lack of one) that thought some stranger would actually turn around and say yes, take my car away
