Plane Near Enfield

Was heading down the M4 this morning around 8:30, and spotted this low flying passenger/cargo jet. Heading north but turning back towards the city.

Spotted something similar a few weeks back, but don't think it was so far out that time. This morning I was out past the toll plaza, heading west.

Any idea what it was doing, or where it was coming from. It was low enough to make out the tail, although the angle wasn't great. The tail was blue, but it didn't look like Ryanair overall.

Mods feel free to move the thread to a general 'what did I see' thread if it exists.

Traffic landing on runway 10 at DUB is often vectored that far west by ATC before being turned onto final approach.

Cool, thanks. Just seemed very low. I work near the airport so seem them coming in and heading out every morning. Incidentally they were landing this morning in the direction they normally take off from.

You can 'replay' the aircraft activity in the area by selecting the date and time on http://casper.frontier.nl/eidw/ - it's cool when you click the buttons to speed it up too! Sure enough, some of the aircraft that morning flew right over Enfield.

I live in Enfield and its a regular thing that we get aircraft passing over, normally its if the airport is busy and they have to circle a few times!
