Was thinking of doing an extra subject for the LLB.if by doing this can i use my best 5 subjects and drop the one that i did worse in so that i have the highest grade?
just wondering has anyone ever done this and any recommendations in relation to extra subjects.thanks

i did commerce in nuig then did the LLB over the last 2 yrs. I took extra subjects in both yrs. I would def recommend taking the extra subject as they only count your best 5 subjects. Its not that much extra work and if you really hate a subject it allows you to make up for it in another one that your more interested in. As for subjects it depends on what law subjects you have done before. If you did an undergrad law degree you'll prob have mist of the main ones done that you need for fe1s etc so u have a lot more choice in the subjects u choose, if not there are a few main subjects that you'll have to do so you subject options are more restricted!! hope this helps! :D

yeah i think ur right about doing the extra subject there is no harm at all in doing it and it could prove a wise investment.i did corporate law the last three years so i have covered a variety of different law subjects.
nearly a hundred % sure i'am going to do the king's inns after instead of the fe1's so il be doing the necessary subjects such as jurisprudence etc.
thanks for your reply it was very helpful and just wondering are there any subjects that you would recommend doing as the extra subject?thanks again.
