    Hi all,
I have been to the social welfare office today for Job seekers Allowance interview. I spoke with a lovely women and went through all the details I had brought with me. I didnt have a P45 yet, so I have been asked to come back with that and go to a room, where they will look at my claim?
I am over 25 living at home and have been paid a student scholarship for the last 3 years so although I was paid,I did not pay tax. Does anyone have any idea of what I am intitled to approx?
Once I bring P45, what will be the next steps to getting paid or accepted etc?

    Thanks
    Mary

The deciding officer will have to wait until the inspector completes all forms from your interview. Then the claim goes into a box and waits its turn. Then a deciding officer will have to calculate your means and weekly JSA payment. Then the claim gets awarded.
