Consumer Law Information

I am looking for consumer law information with regards to a tv I bought that is still under warranty. The television itself is defected and has been repaired twice unsuccessfully. From my understanding that means I am entitled to a new television as I had the same issue 3 times. Does anyone know if this is correct or does anyone know where I could get information on it? Many thanks in advance.
