how much could i get for my xps?

    hey guys im thinking of selling my dell m1730 xps and was just wondering what kind of money i should be looking for, specs -

    • its smoke grey with white LED's
    • X9000 Intel Core 2 Extreme 2.80GHz can be overclock as standard to 3.40GHz(6MB Cache, 800MHz FSB)
    • 2 x 250GB Serial (SATA) 7200 RPM
    • 17.0" 1920x1200 (WUXGA) CCFL UltraSharp Widescreen Display with TrueLife
    • 2 x Nvidia 8700m with 512MB of memory
    • 4GB (4096MB) DDR2 667MHz
    • Integrated AGEIA PhysX Graphics Accelerator
    • wirless, bluetooth, Webcam, backlit keyboard, DVD drive, all standard connections etc.
    its just over 2 years old but its in mint condition never took it anywhere besides my house also just bought a new battery and power adapter for it. if anyone could value my rig just so i can get an idea of what i can get for it i might put it up on adverts

    You can get an i5 and HD5650 equipped 17" laptop nowadays for under €900.

    And basically in terms of CPU and GPU power, they will be pretty evenly matched. Your laptop was high-end in its day but the mid-range of 2010 has caught up or overtaken it.

    I'd say you'll be lucky to get €700 for it. If it had a warranty it'd be worth MUCH more, because in the event of a problem they'd likely replace it with an Alienware M17x.

    700 damn :( was hoping for round 900ish dont know if id sell it for that btw what does a good gaming desktop cost these days?
