    It is often cheaper to just liquidise up whole nuts, you can add a little extra oil to make it more spreadable if needed. I would guess ready ground almonds should only need a bit more liquidise to turn them to butter.

    Holland and Barrets health food shop have a buy one get one half price sale on everything at the moment.
    Works out about 6 euro for 2 tubs.
