Singer and Bassist wanted for real rock band! (originals)

A Primal Nut

Hi, we are a guitarist and drummer so far; and we are looking for a bassist and singer. We are forming a rock band - lots of riffs, catchy chorus', hooks, solos, etc. Mostly riff-based rockers but also ballads and some longer epics. Open to other stuff as well. We have loads of songs written. The plan is to work on completed or nearly completed songs (ours + yours if you have some) to get us out there gigging/recording as soon as possible and then over time collaborate writing new stuff when we get used to playing together. I think trying to force the collaborative creative process among strangers not used to playing together never really works which is why I prefer this plan for now.

Band Genre: Proper hard rock, not indie or alternative like every other originals band in Ireland.

Band Location: We have been rehearsing in the drummer's rehearsal room in Allenwood, Co. Kildare. However, I (the guitarist) have been travelling from Dublin so we are open-minded about rehearsing in the capital if it suits everyone better. I have ideas about how to make this work (by making our rehearsals as productive as possible) and hopefully distance won't be an issue for anyone. We are determined to make this work!

Influences: Guns N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC, Metallica, Stone Roses.

Positions Available: Vocalist and Bassist. For the vocalist: we have lyrics written for most of the songs so you can either sing those or sing your own lyrics; which ever you prefer is fine. Open-minded about the type of singing. For the bassist: Hopefully someone who can get up to speed on songs quickly (guitar tabs can be provided if required) although of course they are free to play whatever they want and being able to write songs or even just riffs would be a nice bonus. Experience is not important, much more interested in enthusiasm.
