    And no i'm not a size 5!:p

Grips look poor for getting rid of muck IMHO.
They could be slippy underfoot and heavy a a result

You need Hunter or Toggi Wellies.

    or

Check these out. These are actually cheap as I have seen both of them in excess of €100 blips.

I've a pair of the Esk. Warm, heavy, comfortable. Use them farming & shooting in late Autumn/Winter/Spring mostly. Way too hot for this time of year, you'd make maggots.

I have a pair similar to these, only difference is mine don't have the laces. I have them for the last 5 or 6 years and there still going strong.

Neoprene inside and above the ankle and whatever the upper of the foot is made from. They're a winter wellie mainly IMO.

I have those as well and they're the best wellies I've had. I'd wear em to mass they're so comfy if I thought I'd get away with it

the two brothers have them and they say they are great very comfortable and nice and warm on the cold mornings the only problem is the sole is a bit thick so not great for deer stalking as they can be noisy.
I use the dunlop hunters have them about 6-7 years now great boot but mine are starting to stink i think its time for a new pair

They can be noisy alright. You'll be doing more clomping than stepping :D

Its for the warmt I want them so that side of it sounds perfect! I'll only be wearing them while stalking! And i was constantly giving out about my feet being cold!

Why would they be loud??? Are they heavy?

no they are very light but the sole in deep/thick giving you less feeling of contact with the ground. Hope that makes sense

hunters are a lovely boot but tear easily ,the muck boot are lovely wellies but on heavy ground your foot will tend to slip out of them because of the neoprene lining ,i wear aigels and i cant fault them......just my experience
