I'm moving to Dunboyne next week and I need a gym for the days I'm not in work.

Does anyone know of any decent gyms (decent weights section with squat racks) etc. nearby. I know there is a community centre gym in Dunboyne, anyone know if its any use or would TF and Westpoint be the nearset decent gyms around.

    Cheers

The Community gym is dire, with nothing but cross trainers (3) and threadmills ( c.5 )..few machines, but the place is too small to house anything else.

Total Fittness would be your best bet, takes 10-15 mins to get there and has pool,...well everything :D

The running track is good for when you wanna just go for a quick run around the area and if you cycle, the route around the backroads of Dunboyne is 5 miles

    Wac :)

The running track is on the Roosk road, beside the GAA pitches. Its about a three mins walk from the community center. The local running club own it, but its open most days and you can just walk in.
